The past couple of weeks have seen a flurry of activity from our US Teams. Teams from NE District, SE District, and DC have rebuilt homes, finished projects at the national church property, furnished our new Orphanage in Petion-Ville with bunk beds & cooking/eating facilities, and are now focused on evangelistic soccer outreaches to take advantage of the Haitians love for soccer and the World Cup. Things are going well and teams are touching this nation with the Love of God! Pray for a harvest of souls as we work together through these hot summer months, that God would pour out His Spirit on this nation and change it’s course in history by the power of the Gospel and the Love of the Father through His church.

Chile - Breaking News!
A 7.2 earthquake and an earthquake of 6.9 magnitude occured after the previous 8.8 earthquake on February 27. A tsunami alert was issued on about 50% of the entire coast. The epicenter was 75 miles south of Santiago. Cell and land lines are down.
Quakes occurred about 5 minutes before the official transfer of power of the new President.
Following the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the City of Concepcion on Wednesday, February 27 and the ensuing tsunami, Foursquare Chile is working diligently to serve the needs of people and communities affected by the disaster. Your support will help meet these urgent needs.
Reports of the effects of the quake on the Foursquare family of Chile include:
- President Alen Joo’s wife, Rosita, was forced to spend two nights sleeping outdoors in the open while visiting the coast in order to avoid the destructive power of the tsunami which came within a half block of their home. They are in desperate need of shelter.
- One church in Santiago recorded significant damage to its walls due to the 7.5 magnitude which hit the capital city.
- One of the Foursquare churches in the city of Valparaiso is providing food and housing to people left homeless by the quake in this port city.
Chile Prayer Points
Cook Island
Our precious Foursquare people in the Cook Islands and the wider community in the area have been devastated by a hurricane. Over 60% of houses have been de-roofed. There is much damage, however there has been no loss of life. Your support will allow resources to the Cooks and the rebuilding of the Church house and building.
Flooding in Albania
Please pray for completion of the radio antenna and transmitter to extend the distance of the signal into Macedonia and Greece as well as villages in the southern area of Albania. Pray for the distribution of aid to the flooded areas of Northern Albania. They are currently awaiting a shipment of Aid from England. When it arrives it will be distributed immediately.
